How neurologist diagnose a brain disease which doesn't show any traces in MRI/CT scans? Example: TBI, Concussion, Encephalomalacia.
Neurology (MBBS, MD, DM), 14 Years of practice
Neurological diagnosis depends primarily on history of the disease. MRI and other investigations are supportive few cases and in many cases definitive too. Eg in Migraine and other primary headache all tests usually are normal.
